Atabey, is second generation in the halal family business. He started out young working for ENA Meat Packing, gaining the experience and business sense he would later need to expand the family business and take it to another level. While growing up watching his family run a successful halal meat business he realized something was missing. Customers were asking about halal chicken, true Zabiha halal chicken. At that time he and his brother Edibey realized that they could not in good faith even recommend one place to their customers. So he took it in his own hands. He's said, "If you are going to do something, then you need to do it right, no cutting corners", and so he created Senat Poultry. He had a vision, not only did he want to provide him community and cuustomers with a halal pruduct, but he also wanted it to be amongst the best in quaility, and that is exactly what he did. Not only is Senat one of the few true zabiha halal poultry plants out there that strictly follows the guidelines, it is also one of the best in quality. In a few short years, Atabey not only launched Senat, but he also brought it to a national level.
THE MAN WITH A PLAN
Edibey, is the Plant Manager at ENA Meat Packing, and is also Atabey's older brother. Atabey grew up watching Edibey take lead in running Ena, and he knew that he was the person to talk to about the lack of Halal poultry supply. Edibey worked with Atabey and they devised the plan for Senat. Edibey didnt want just another "kill" sequence. He wanted something better. He wanted to customize it, and he wanted it to be state-of-the-art. He single handedly designed the the plant, and the system behind it. He created a system that was efficient, yet also true to the halal name. Edibey has said, "You cant just do what everyone else is doing, because it's obviously not working. You look for the flaws, the problems, and then you find a way to fix them. I like to fix things, I like to take things apart and figure out how they work. Once you know how it works, you can modify it and put it back togther in a way where it works better."
